KwanzaTrack is a fleet-tracking service used by organisations ("customers") to monitor their own vehicles. This policy explains what the KwanzaTrack mobile app and web console collect, why, and the choices you have. The app is provided to people whose organisation has a KwanzaTrack workspace; accounts are created by that organisation's administrator, not by self sign-up.
1. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and phone number, as entered by your organisation's administrator. They identify you, deliver one-time sign-in codes, and label the actions you take.
- Sign-in and security data — a password hash, one-time codes (which expire within minutes), session tokens, and the device name you sign in from. If you enable fingerprint unlock, the fingerprint itself never leaves your device; the app only asks the operating system whether the check passed.
- Vehicle telemetry — positions, speed, ignition, fuel and sensor readings sent by GPS trackers fitted to your organisation's vehicles. This is data about vehicles, collected under your organisation's agreement with us.
- Content you add — vehicle photos, service records, drivers, geofences, routes and similar records you create in the app.
- Technical data — IP address, request logs and error logs needed to run and secure the service.
2. Your phone's location
The app asks for location permission only to show your own position on the live map next to your vehicles (the "locate me" button and distance to a vehicle). Your phone's location is used on the device for that purpose and is not sent to our servers or stored by the fleet app. You can decline the permission; every other feature keeps working. The app does not collect location in the background.
3. Why we use the data
- To provide the service your organisation subscribed to: live tracking, trips, alarms, reports, maintenance and dispatch.
- To secure accounts (one-time codes, rate limits, audit logs of administrative actions).
- To send the notifications your organisation configures (SMS, WhatsApp or email alarms).
- To support you and improve reliability (error and request logs).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
Data is shared only with processors that help us run the service — hosting providers, SMS and email delivery providers, and map-tile providers (which receive the map areas you view, not your identity) — and when the law requires it. Your organisation's administrators can see the data in their workspace, including your name and the actions you take in it.
5. Retention
Telemetry and records are kept for as long as your organisation keeps its workspace and subscription, plus a short grace period. One-time codes expire within five minutes. Logs are rotated regularly. When a workspace is closed its data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days.
6. Your rights and choices
- You can view and correct your account details with your administrator.
- You can sign out of the app at any time; "Keep me signed in" and fingerprint unlock are optional and can be switched off on the sign-in screen.
- You can request a copy or the deletion of your personal data: see Delete my data. Requests from an organisation's data are completed together with that organisation.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and access is restricted by role within each workspace. Sessions on the phone are stored in the device's secure storage. Despite this, no system is perfectly secure; tell us at hello@grupobizhub.com if you suspect a problem.
8. Children
KwanzaTrack is a business tool and is not directed at children under 18.
9. Changes and contact
We will post changes to this policy here and update the date above. Questions: hello@grupobizhub.com.
